Tung Oil 1 L
WITHOUT ADDING LINSEED OIL AND OTHER CHEAP "ENHANCEMENTS"
Tung oil, also called Chinese oil, is a natural vegetable oil pressed from the seeds of the tung tree.
This oil comes from ancient China - the first mentions appear in the writings of Confucius around 400 BC.
A thick, yellow-brown liquid with an unpleasant odor, it is a quick-drying oil and soluble in many solvents.
It is used in the varnishing industry and for the production of paints.
The coatings covered with it are resistant to water, air, acids, alkalis and some organic solvents.
It is also used for anti-corrosion protection of metal products and stone.
Currently, it is very popular as a means of protecting wood: table tops, window sills, children's houses and toys,
floors and many, many other items. The product creates a natural, ecological, matte wood finish with a golden shade.
How to use
The oil can be applied with a cotton cloth or with a brush if you are painting a large surface.
To obtain a satisfactory effect, apply at least 3-4 coats. The first painting is done with diluted oil (e.g. with meringue, turpentine).
Subsequent coats should be applied at intervals of 24 hours.
After each painting, excess oil should be collected - if this is not done, lumps will form. You must also not paint wet/damp surfaces.
If we paint outdoors, always do it in good weather. The cloth used to apply oil should be kept in water or burned -
it may spontaneously combust!! The more light, the lighter the drying oil will be - if it dries in the dark, it will be darker.
Our oil meets the expectations of even the most demanding customers.
